Our Photo Tours focus on maximizing photographic opportunities in diverse locations, emphasizing hands-on shooting experiences. While no formal lessons exist, our tour leaders will always guide you with camera settings, composition, and scene approach throughout the journey. In contrast, Photo Workshops combine shooting sessions with structured lessons, often staying in one location to delve deeper into photography techniques.

Our photo tours are open to photography enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Non-photographer spouses and friends are also welcome to join. Please note that participants must be over 18 years old.

The tour fee covers double occupancy accommodation, ground transportation, entrance fees to scheduled sites, and guidance from our professional photographers and local guides. Meals, unless specified, and personal expenses are not included.

Yes, tour prices are based on double occupancy. A single supplement fee applies if you're traveling alone and prefer a single room. If you wish to share a room, we'll attempt to pair you with another participant of the same gender; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

We maintain a group size of 4 to 12 participants to ensure personalized attention and a quality experience for everyone.

Vietnam is considered a safe and welcoming destination for travelers. It is known for its friendly locals, low crime rates, and vibrant culture. Most areas, including cities, rural villages, and tourist attractions, are safe to explore. Relaxed: most photo opportunities are within one mile or so from where we leave the vehicle. You may need to be able to stand and walk for long periods. There is a chance that you can encounter steep terrain (e.g., cobblestones, city hills, stairs without handrails, an absence of elevators, and climbing aboard trains or coaches with big steps) and some longer walks to get to city centers where vehicles are prohibited.

If DAK Photography Inc. must cancel a trip for any reason, 100% of paid deposits and fees will be fully refunded. We reserve the right to cancel any trip, tour, or group due to insufficient registration at any time. In such cases, those with reservations will be notified promptly, and a full refund of the trip payment will be issued.

If you need to cancel your participation, written notification is required, and email is acceptable.

Please note that deposits are non-refundable. However, they may be applied as a credit toward a future trip with us, provided the credit is used within 12 months of the original trip’s start date.

The following cancellation fees apply:

• 120 days or more before departure: No cancellation charge.

• 61 days to 119 days before departure: 50% of the tour fee.

• 60 days or less before departure: 100% of the tour fee.

If we are able to fill your spot on the trip, we will refund 100% of the tour fee, less an administrative fee of $250.

Refunds will not be made for any other costs you may have incurred due to your booking, such as flights, visas, or other travel arrangements.

Travel and Medical Insurance

Travel and medical insurance, including emergency evacuation coverage, are mandatory for all participants. To safeguard your investment, we strongly recommend purchasing this coverage as soon as your trip is confirmed. We also encourage you to select an insurance policy that covers non-refundable deposits and other pre-trip expenses in case of unforeseen cancellations.

All refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving written confirmation of your cancellation.
